Colin
Wardale
Director of Finance
Colin has worked in the legal industry since 1992, having previously been Chief Executive of Kings Chambers and Director of Finance at Addleshaw Booth (now Addleshaw Goddard).
Colin has been Director of Finance at Hill Dickinson since 2002, and is a member of the firm's LLP Board.
His key responsibilities include strategic and business planning, mergers and acquisitions, profit improvement and member communication.
Colin is also chairman of Hill Dickinson’s charity committee and leads the firm’s programme in support of WaterAid.
Keith
Feeny
Director of IT and Operations
Keith Feeny joined Hill Dickinson in 1995 and is responsible for telecommunications, facilities, purchasing, library and archiving, front of house and secretarial services. He was made Director of IT and Operations in November 2005 and is part of the executive management team.
Against the backdrop of the firm’s unprecedented growth, Keith has successfully project managed a number of its major developments. These have included the conversion to LLP status and the operational elements of more than ten mergers. He has also overseen the logistics of expanding into a variety of new buildings.
Keith also managed the multi-million pound fit-out and move into Hill Dickinson’s purpose-built offices at No.1 St. Paul’s Square, Liverpool. The project brought together more than 550 lawyers and support staff from four different city centre offices.
He also project managed the 2009 opening of Hill Dickinson’s Singapore office to support the needs of our clients operating in the Asia market.
Bill
Doherty
Director of Business Development and Marketing
Prior to joining Hill Dickinson, Bill held a number of roles at director level across the corporate and commercial bank, RBS. He spent the early part of his career in the Home counties and the City of London before joining Hill Dickinson in November 2008.
Bill is responsible for driving forward business development and
marketing activity. Bill’s key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a firm-wide mentor, providing advice and direction to achieve business development objectives
- Identifying appropriate sectors and working with lead partners to achieve the firm’s overall strategy
- Seeking new client acquisition and expanding the footprint of existing clients
- Strategic planning and tactical advice
- Developing the high performance B2B marketing and business development team
Andrew
Rushworth
Director of Human Resources
Andrew has gained more than 14 years’ experience within the HR industry at home and abroad, most notably with KPMG. He joined Hill Dickinson in September 2007.
Andrew’s key areas of responsibility include:
- Delivering a coherent people function including recruitment, learning and development
- Establishing a framework for effective performance management across the firm, for both partners and staff
- Creating ‘an employer of choice’ agenda to ensure Hill Dickinson is recognised as the leading employer in its chosen sector and markets
- Building greater employee engagement throughout all of the practice areas and geographic locations in which Hill Dickinson operates
