The training and associated support provided by Hill Dickinson since starting here as a trainee has been imperative to the advancement of my development within the firm and to my current position as associate.
As a trainee the core elements of the professional skills course were provided in-house, as was the mandatory management course stage one within my first year of qualification.
I am currently undertaking the client and commercial awareness programme with the Hill Dickinson Business School and since my promotion in 2008 have been placed onto the firms’ associate development programme. I'm also currently taking part in the commercial property accelerator programme.
To keep us up to date and advance our technical skills within the property and construction practice group, we are fortunate to have a dedicated practice support lawyer who organises monthly updates, internal training programmes, talks by external speakers and annual training days.
