Corporate insolvency

Our aim, wherever possible, is to help clients avoid formal insolvency by restructuring or turnaround methods. However, when restructuring is not possible, we are experienced in advising clients on maximising their realisations through formal procedures, including:

  • Administration
  • Receiverships, including administrative receiverships, fixed charge receiverships and Law of Property Act receiverships
  • Liquidations (both compulsory and voluntary including members’ and creditors’)
  • Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs)
  • Schemes of arrangement

With a commitment to providing a quality service with a commercial and results-driven focus, we can assist with the following:

  • Asset realisation including the sale of businesses and the assets of an insolvent company
  • Corporate recovery
  • Asset and debt recovery
  • Investigation and asset tracing
  • Recovery of foreign assets
  • The sale of real estate/property
  • The protection and realisation of intellectual property rights
  • Insolvent partnerships

We act for:

  • Management teams
  • Insolvency practitioners
  • Financial institutions including lenders, major banks, receivable financiers and asset-based lenders
