50 million claim records. Netfoil users and data providers benefit
from the sharing of claims data in a confidential format. This
helps to protect their commercial interests whilst at the same time
facilitating the detection of fraudulent claims activity. Netfoil
provides our clients with a unique risk assessment tool. It also
enables our dedicated intelligence unit to assist clients with the

Recent case studies:
Case study 1:
In relation to one personal
lines motor insurance over the period 2008/9 we have achieved 12.5
million (net of costs) in relation to motor insurance fraud. This
follows savings of £10.8 million in 2007/8. The average saving per
claim amounted to 18,930 pounds per claim.
Case study 2:
Hill Dickinson extracted
50,000 claims including 19,000 open legacy claims. Netfoil MDA, led
to the identification of circa 1,000 high risk claims with a
minimal false positive rate, leading to the creation of over 20
million pounds of fraud savings.
Case study 3:
Hill Dickinson were
instructed to advise in relation to a London based fraud ring. We
directed investigation, assisted by Netfoil, led to the
identification and repudiation of 1.1 million pounds of claims.
