Hill Dickinson can provide a comprehensive legal service, throughout the lifetime of a project, to clients who are developing land or redeveloping existing property.
Working in partnership with the various teams in our property and construction practice gives us the means to achieve this aim efficiently.
We can offer advice to clients setting up a project on their new responsibilities under CDM regulations. From them on we can help them with every phase of the construction process. This includes initial environmental issues through demolition, the selection and amendment of the building contract and the negotiation of professional appointments and warranties. We can also offer advice on the performance of the building contract and on dispute resolution, should it be needed.
Current major projects members of the team are involved with include the Liverpool Cruise Liner Terminal, Lime Street Gateway and the Paradise Street development.

With excellent coverage in Manchester and Liverpool,
particularly following the absorption of Halliwells’ Liverpool
team, Hill Dickinson LLP has ‘first-rate’ expertise in contentious
and non-contentious matters. Team head Michael Woolley provides
‘in-depth analysis and practical solutions’, and is advising Peel
Holdings in relation to infrastructure for a waste-to-energy power
facility.
Based
in Manchester and Liverpool, the team has a good local standing and
clients rate highly the quality of advice they get. It recently
advised Chester Zoo on a range of construction matters in relation
to its forthcoming redevelopment.
