Mediations

Mediation is an increasingly popular way of dealing with construction disputes. It can offer significant cost advantages in terms of achieving a commercial settlement. Often, more formal procedures may take significant time and money before the parties feel the need to talk to resolve their differences.

Mediation can provide the means of getting to a practical working solution to a problem, and also allow the parties to work together afterwards.

The construction team at Hill Dickinson have very wide experience in mediation. Using this approach, team members have resolved multi-party disputes of up to £16 million in value.

In addition to this experience, both David Chinn and Michael Woolley have completed specialist training in this field: David is accredited through the ADR Group and Michael is a member of the TeCSA panel.
