Crisis response

We operate a specialist crisis response facility. We advise clients in advance of incidents occurring, including writing the crisis manual and protocols, as well as providing, by prior arrangement, a 24/7/365 emergency response service covering the UK and overseas.

We also offer crisis media training delivered by ex BBC presenters and journalists alongside our own staff and clients, detailing their own crisis media experiences.

We have experience of supporting clients in the immediate aftermath serious incidents, ranging from the sinking of cruise ships (twice in the past few years alone) to deaths, injuries and allegations of serious sexual assault, both in the UK and remote overseas locations ranging from the Antarctic oceans to South American jungles and even to the top of major peaks, requiring emergency legal advice.

Clients have called upon our services for dispatch of lawyers (for advice, support, dealing with the authorities, investigation and preservation of evidence), our ex police investigators and specialist third party services such as crisis counselling services, which have been utilised at short notice upon our recommendation.

Our teams have then gone on to deal with proceedings arising after the incident, including representation at Coroner's inquests and subsequent civil and criminal proceedings.

Crisis response team

The team includes lawyers with media experience and with a practical tour operator background- including responsibility for crisis training and response, health and safety specialists, ex police investigators and our own in-house communications team. The team is able to draw upon external experts in many fields, including PR and crisis trauma counsellors (available by telephone and to dispatch overseas) often at very short notice.

Training

We operate a series of in-house training programmes covering off-site safety management, media training, investigation and safety/medical training (including varied environments). To view all our forthcoming training courses, seminars and events, please see our events calendar.
