The award ceremony, held at the Manchester International Convention Centre on 11 May 2006, is billed as one of the best and most prestigious events in the regional property market. Over 800 guests attended the esteemed awards where the property sector’s elite are recognised and commended in their achievements.
The Property Law Firm of the Year 2006 award was one of the evening’s most fiercely contested categories, with the firm beating some of the biggest names in the business.
Michael Taylor, editor of Insider, said: “Hill Dickinson has gone from strength to strength over recent years. They embed themselves in the local market and always strive to go to the extra mile in providing answers.”
Nominations for the Property Law Firm of the Year were invited from law firms across the North West and on the night, Hill Dickinson was shortlisted with two other firms - Halliwells and Addleshaw Goddard. The selection is based on criteria such as quality and value of property related transactions, strength and depth of property partnerships and skills, expertise and innovation in the North West property sector. Steve Ellard, head of Legal Services at The Peacock Group, a long-standing client of Hill Dickinson, nominated the firm.
Steve Ellard commented: “Hill Dickinson consistently provides the highest level of service and the firm thoroughly deserves to win this award.”

Our team has grown from strength to strength and continues to attract and retain specialist talent. I am delighted that our efforts have been rewarded in such a fulfilling way.
