Within Hill Dickinson is a specialist team which provides advice to NHS bodies and the health sector on all NHS regulatory matters. The team also provides quality advice to PCTs in respect of their now extended role in regulating general practitioners, nurses, dentists and pharmacists, under the performer list regulations, pharmaceutical regulations and associated department of health guidance.
Areas of expertise include:
- Advice to NHS bodies on the imposition of suspensions of contractors, conditions of registration, regulation, discipline, removal from performance list register and dismissal of health practitioners, including appeals to F.H.S.A.A.
- Advice on investigations and reports of investigating officers
- Advice and liaison with the police in respect of criminal allegations, charges and trials
