The PCT forum is designed specifically for NHS staff working for primary care trusts, including heads of services, legal service managers, heads of continuing health care and middle management.
Through a series of free, informal meetings over the coming months, attendees will have the opportunity to meet other personnel from different PCTs working in similar or complementary roles.
Many PCT staff have told us they believe they would benefit from contact with other PCT employees, particularly following on from the recent commissioner/provider split and general guidance that PCTs should work collaboratively with neighbouring authorities where possible in relation to local and regional issues.
The aim of the forum is to assist with informal networking, to facilitate the sharing of experiences and will be guided by the issues of most relevance to PCTs at the time of the meetings.
Hill Dickinson will assist in suggesting topics for discussion, and facilitating discussion of topical issues raised by clients from a legal perspective.
