International law firm Hill Dickinson celebrated its 200th anniversary in style on Friday with an event at the Chester Cathedral's Refectory, which was attended by over 150 people.
Attendees enjoyed a varied evening of entertainment, with singing operatic waiters and a string quartet providing the guests with a selection of classical music to enjoy. Speeches were given by Robin Jones- head of Chester office, Tony Wilson – senior partner, and Professor Tim Wheeler - Vice Chancellor of Chester University. The Hill Dickinson's sponsored Cheshire Renaissance rhino, 'Regal Rhino', also made a surprise appearance on the evening.
Robin Jones, Head of Chester office commented, “We chose Chester Cathedral as a venue as it is a beautiful and historical building. It provides a national cultural centre for the city and an ideal location to celebrate Hill Dickinson's 200th anniversary with style. Hill Dickinson has evolved from its strong historical roots into a highly successful, contemporary firm, with its expansive and multifaceted expertise channelling successfully in to the Chester locality. We have outstanding links with the Chester business community with our client list including the University of Chester, Chester Cathedral and Chester Zoo, amongst others. We wanted to celebrate our key milestone with our Cestrian clients and thank them for their invaluable support by treating them to an evening to remember.”
The firm has a number of events planned throughout the year in each of its office locations, including Liverpool, Manchester, London, Piraeus and Singapore.
As part of its bicentenary celebrations, Hill Dickinson is also raising vital funds for a number of charities throughout the North West.
