The Chester office of leading law firm, Hill Dickinson LLP, has welcomed commercial employment law specialist Kerstie Skeaping to its team.
Kerstie, who is seconding into the Chester office on a regular basis, will further enhance Hill Dickinson’s commercial client offering and will work with the existing employment and corporate teams to grow the firm’s client base in the region.
Kerstie will be advising on large scale collective redundancies, reorganisations, all areas of discrimination law and equal pay, unfair dismissal, executive terminations, maternity provisions and on the transfer of undertakings. She also brings with her a wealth of tribunal advocacy experience, having represented clients in employment tribunals throughout the UK, and is particularly interested in contentious employment work.
Kerstie says; “I am very pleased to be a part of Hill Dickinson’s market-leading team in Chester. I took my Law Society exams at the Chester College of Law and, having specialised in employment law for 14 years I am looking forward to using the knowledge I have acquired to support clients in the region.”
Head of Hill Dickinson’s Chester office, Robin Jones, added; “Kerstie will enable us to further exploit business development opportunities in the regional marketplace. Her experience and expertise will perfectly complement our existing team of specialist corporate and commercial lawyers. We already have a strong employment offering in place, headed up by partner Andrew Gibson. Kerstie will now work alongside Andrew, bolstering our commercial employment presence and providing clients with heavyweight expertise, at a local level. She will also liaise closely with our head of corporate, Sally Wightman, to ensure we can offer clients a comprehensive range of legal advice.”
