International law firm Hill Dickinson has been appointed to the Northwest Regional Development Agency’s (NWDA’s) legal panel covering the areas of employment, public constitutional law, litigation, intellectual property, data protection and freedom of information.
The instruction comes after the NWDA last month created four specialist panels to cover its legal needs over the next four years.
Sue Morrison, employment partner at Hill Dickinson, commented: “We are very pleased to be appointed as legal advisors by the NWDA and confident that our technical capabilities will complement the NWDA’s requirements. Our vast experience in the local, regional government and healthcare sectors and involvement with organisations such as the Capital of Culture were some of the deciding factors in the NWDA’s decision”.
On the appointment, Tony Wilson, senior partner at Hill Dickinson, added: “We are delighted to have succeeded in this venture and look forward to developing a mutually beneficial relationship with the NWDA. Hill Dickinson’s successful employment team is highly respected in its field, a view which has been underlined by our appointment to the NWDA panel.”
