Law firm Hill Dickinson’s Rhys Clift has been short-listed for 'Shipping Lawyer of the Year' at this year’s Lloyd’s List Global Awards which recognize outstanding achievement within the maritime industry.
Following
judging in London, the shortlist was announced earlier this week
for an award which pays tribute to a legal expert who has made a
'constructive and progressive contribution' to the field of
maritime law.
Hill Dickinson Managing Partner Peter Jackson said, "The Lloyd’s List Awards are the benchmark for excellence within the industry. For Rhys to reach this stage is a huge achievement and one of which he should be very proud. We are delighted. This further strengthens the world-class reputation of our international marine, trade and energy practice and highlights the incredible talent in the firm."
An international panel of maritime industry judges, including International Maritime Organization Secretary-General Efthimios Mitropoulos, will decide the winner who will be revealed at the prestigious awards ceremony at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel on September 8.
