Patrick leads Hill Dickinson’s Corporate Banking & Finance Team and was a key lateral hire from national rival Addleshaw Goddard LLP. Patrick currently works in Manchester, Liverpool and Chester and acts for leading banks and financial institutions, corporate and public sector borrowers and institutional investors.
Patrick’s principle practice areas are leveraged debt finance, real estate finance (investment and development finance), bilateral and syndicated corporate lending, receivables and asset based finance, restructuring, NHS funding and general corporate refinancing. Patrick advises on a wide variety of finance issues from both lender and borrower perspectives, including facility agreements for lending to companies, partnerships/limited liability partnerships and individuals, the giving and taking of security, priorities and inter-creditor issues, guarantees and indemnities, undertakings, acquisition and leveraged finance for management buy-outs, management buy-ins and other transactions and refinancing.
Patrick is ranked in Chambers & Partners 2010 Guide to the legal profession for banking & finance NW. He is noted for being “very easy to deal with and very sensible; he gets on with the job and is extremely thorough”.
