Hill Dickinson Stadium

A partnership rooted in Liverpool’s past and firmly focused on its future

We’re proud to be the naming rights partner of Hill Dickinson Stadium, Everton Football Club's new waterfront home at Bramley-Moore Dock.

While our roots remain firmly in Liverpool, today Hill Dickinson is a growing international law firm with 12 offices across the UK, Europe and Asia. As we continue to expand, we remain proud of the city where our story began and honoured to be part of one of its most significant landmark developments.

Connected by heritage

Few partnerships can point to a connection and shared heritage that reaches back to the very beginning. Our story and Everton's story have been connected for generations, with links embedded in our DNA that can be traced back to the club's formation in 1878 and Hill Dickinson’s own formation in Liverpool in 1810, against the backdrop of the city’s historic waterfront.

One of the trustees of St Domingo's Church, whose members would go on to form Everton FC in 1878, was the father of local Liverpool solicitor Will Cuff. Following in his father's footsteps, Will became a Director, Club Secretary and later Chair of Everton Football Club. He also played a key role in shaping the club's early development, including advising on its historic move to Goodison Park from its original home at Anfield, which would go on to become Liverpool FC’s ground.

In 1919 Will Cuff established the Liverpool law firm Cuff Roberts, that became long time legal advisors to Everton FC and helped create the first EFC Shareholders Association in 1938. Cuff Roberts continued to be a successful Liverpool law firm for many years and became part of Hill Dickinson through merger in 2010, bringing history full circle in 2025 as Everton moved to their exciting new home at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Liverpool’s historic waterfront.

It’s a unique link between our entwined histories in our founding city and one that makes this partnership especially meaningful.

Investing in Liverpool’s future

Opportunities to be part of a project like this are rare.

Hill Dickinson Stadium is more than a football venue. As the centrepiece of one of the UK's most significant waterfront regeneration projects with the anticipated £1 billion regeneration scheme of the Liverpool North Docks area, it represents a bold vision for Liverpool's future, helping to redefine North Liverpool and creating opportunities that we believe will see city-wide benefits for generations to come.

Bringing world-class sport, entertainment, business and cultural events to Liverpool, the stadium will attract visitors from around the world, support investment and help strengthen the city's economy and position on the global stage.

Creating a lasting impact

For us, the most meaningful part of this partnership is its potential to make a lasting difference in the communities we serve and in which we were founded over two centuries ago, because we believe successful organisations have a responsibility to create positive change beyond their own four walls. That's why our partnership with Everton extends beyond the stadium itself, supporting initiatives that improve health, wellbeing and opportunities across Merseyside. .

Through Everton in the Community and the Hill Dickinson Foundation, we’re helping to support programmes that we hope will make a significant difference to people's lives. Together, we want to help create stronger communities, open up new opportunities and leave a positive legacy that reaches far beyond matchday.

Looking ahead

Our connection with Everton and Liverpool’s dockside waterfront stretches back generations, but this partnership is firmly focused on what comes next. Built on a shared heritage, local pride and a global vision, it is about creating opportunities, supporting communities and contributing to a stronger future for Liverpool, together.
