We'd like to invite you to our forthcoming webinar for in-house lawyers on Thursday 19 March 2026, focused on participation in public inquiries.

With ever-increasing regulation and political scrutiny of both public and independent sector organisations, we have seen a significant number of public inquiries taking place over the last few years – covering issues from corporate governance and management, health and safety, competition and financial regulation to procurement, employment and discrimination, tax, cybersecurity and data privacy.

The session will look at the format and stages of a public inquiry process, and how organisations can best prepare for participation. The session will be led by Hill Dickinson Partners Joanna Trewin and Emma Stockwell.

The webinar will cover:

  • stages of an inquiry

  • participation as a core participant or witness

  • powers of the inquiry and Chair

  • disclosure of documentation

  • providing evidence

  • communications and media management

  • key challenges and strategies for participation

This session is essential for in-house legal teams who are likely to be responsible for coordinating their organisation’s participation and response in a public inquiry.

We look forward to you joining us.
