We are delighted to invite you to our latest seminar, covering complex health and care decisions.
This informative session, chaired by Kiran Bhogal, will explore some of the most challenging issues facing health and social care professionals, legal practitioners, and those involved in supporting vulnerable individuals. Our speakers, Emma Pollard and Rachel Kelly, will provide practical insights and discuss recent developments in the law and practice relating to health and care decision-making.
We are also pleased to be joined by guest speakers Tor Butler-Cole KC and Alex Ruck Keene KC (Hon) both from 39 Essex Chambers, who will share their expertise and perspectives on some of the key topics facing the sector.
Topics covered will include:
Serious medical treatment
Delayed discharge
Deprivation of Liberty
Mental health
To help shape the discussion, we invite attendees to submit questions in advance on the topics of serious medical treatment and deprivation of liberty. Questions will be collated and shared with Tor and Alex ahead of the seminar to help inform the session. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions which arise during the morning.
Please submit any questions by Tuesday 13 October here.
The session will provide an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, hear from experienced specialists, and network with fellow professionals working across the health and care sector.
We hope you can join us.
