Law firm Hill Dickinson has advised The Friedkin Group (TFG), owners of Everton Football Club, on the acquisition of Insight Sport Ltd, a data and analytics consultancy founded by former director, Chris Howarth.
The deal followed the club’s announcement on 20 June naming Howarth as one of four senior appointments to Everton’s new football leadership structure.
For Hill Dickinson, the deal marks the first on which the firm has advised TFG since becoming naming rights partner for Hill Dickinson Stadium in May.
Corporate partner Matt Noon led on the deal, assisted by senior associate Ben Correia de Sousa.
