Attendees were greeted by Leeds office heads Rob McGough (commercial partner) and Mike McKenna (health litigation partner), commercial legal director Esther Venning and healthcare partner Emma Stockwell, whilst Hill Dickinson’s head of health, Andrew Craggs, provided the opening welcome.
The seminar, entitled ‘Reshaping the NHS system: challenges in adopting new models, STPs and the new system approach’ covered new models and the new NHS system; information and data within new care models and system wide approaches; and understanding and overcoming the barriers to innovation across the NHS and social care. The seminar ended with a panel Q&A followed by drinks and canapés.
The firm’s Leeds office opened its doors last month to service the health practice’s growing client base. In addition to Leeds, Hill Dickinson’s health practice operates out of offices in Liverpool, Manchester and London. Speaking on the office opening, Andrew Craggs said that Leeds was the natural next strategic location for the team.
It is expected that the firm will announce a number of lateral hires to join the Leeds office in the coming months.
