Amy acts for a variety of clients, including traders, insurers, charterers, ship owners and P&I clubs. Her case load covers a whole range of disputes arising from the international sale and transportation of commodities, charterparties and bills of lading.
Her experience covers cargo contamination and quality disputes, shortage and non-delievery claims, non-payment, letter of credit issues and disputes arising from the carriage of goods. Amy also handles dry shipping disputes arising from the sale of commodities.
She handles arbitration in many forums and litigation before the Commercial Court. Her arbitration experience covers trade associations (including SAL, RSA, GAFTA, FOSFA, International Cotton Association and LME) as well as the LMAA and the LCIA.
Amy holds an undergraduate degree in Law from King’s College London and an MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law.
