Iasonas Michalopoulos

Prior to joining the firm, Iasonas had worked in an international law firm focusing on ship finance transactions.

Iasonas’ expertise involves the representation of financiers and shipowners with respect to financing arrangements, ship sale and purchase transactions and escrow arrangements.

As a member of the Piraeus’ Marshall Islands and Liberian legal team, Iasonas provides legal advice and general assistance on Marshall Islands and Liberian legal aspects in transactional finance and corporate matters.

Iasonas holds a degree in political science and public administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an LLB from Swansea University and an LLM in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton.
