About me

Having practised for over a decade, I’m a specialist in transactional law.

I’m highly experienced in helping financial institutions, private equity funds and other clients execute domestic and cross-border transactions in both the UK and India. I’m equally well versed in supporting multinational corporations on strategic acquisitions, divestitures and general company law.

I work in a measured and pragmatic way, collaborating with clients to devise effective strategies that balance risk with opportunity, so they achieve successful outcomes that align with their goals.

My role provides the opportunity to work across a range of legal disciplines and industries, so no two days are ever the same, which is something I particularly enjoy as it keeps things varied.

I’m an advocate for legal education, having acted as a guest lecturer at law schools across India, while I also serve on the editorial boards of several legal blogs and online journals.

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors and I’m also passionate about wildlife conservation.

My experience

  • Advised EA Technology on its acquisition of Fundamentals Ltd
  • Advised QAD Inc. on its acquisition of Kavida Technologies Ltd
  • Advised International Finance Corporation on its investment into multiple housing finance and micro-finance companies in India
  • Advised the Indian government’s Invest and Public Asset Management department on a demerger and disinvestment of an iron and steel plant for NMDC Ltd
  • Advised Marsh and McLennan Companies on multiple acquisitions and disposals in India
