About me

I joined Hill Dickinson in 2017 to build the Banking team in Manchester and specialise in non-contentious transactional banking matters.

As a banking and finance specialist, my clients are banks, funds, financial institutions, sponsors, corporates and, occasionally, individuals.

I like to focus on what’s important for the client, ensuring any legal risks are covered off while keeping the process as straightforward as possible. I’ll always fight my clients’ corner when required, but generally I’ll push for things that are material or at odds with the type of transaction rather than points scoring for the sake of it.

My clients appreciate that approach. My commerciality, calmness under pressure and desire to conclude the relevant transaction with the minimum of fuss are fundamental to the way I work, and achieving a successful outcome for my clients is the best possible reward.

Outside of work, I’m married with two daughters and keen sportsman – particularly tennis, cricket and rugby.
