About me
I provide advice and representation to NHS Trusts, NHS Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), independent health providers and other public bodies, on a range of healthcare and human rights matters - my cases often appearing in the Court of Protection, High Court, Family Court and Coroner’s Court.
I frequently advise on mental capacity and mental health law, deprivation of liberty, complex hospital discharges, commissioning disputes, inquests, CQC prosecutions, serious incident investigations/patient safety and judicial review.
I work on diverse and unique cases and take pride in offering solution-focused advice that helps lighten the load for clients who are often working in high-pressure clinical roles, alongside legal proceedings.
I find real purpose in working on important, time-critical cases that balance respecting human rights and saving, changing or bettering people's lives in meaningful ways. I also sit on Hill Dickinson’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and Social Committee.
