About me

I’m a yacht specialist, with a particular focus on yacht related claims and litigation.

I advise on everything from day-to-day legal problems to strategic and operational issues. The types of clients I represent include yacht owners, charterers and brokers along with yacht service providers.

I aim to be a steady hand in high-pressure situations, listening closely to understand what clients need, then offering the clear, commercially focused advice that delivers results.

My expertise is grounded in my lived experiences, as I’m a keen sailor and a qualified Yacht Master. I’m well versed in the world my clients live in, and the unique headwinds they face, so I can put myself in their shoes, making sure the approach I take is fit for purpose, every time.

Challenges bring out the best in me. It’s a real joy when I get to tackle a complex issue and see how the end result benefits the client, whether that’s helping them secure a victory at arbitration or making their life easier by solving a particularly pressing problem behind the scenes.

My experience

  • Member of the Law Society, Young Professionals in Yachting, Royal Yachting Association, Royal Thames Yacht Club as well as Committee member of the Super Yacht UK Committee and its Technical Committee
  • Extensive experience handling superyacht-related disputes in the High Court in London and in arbitration and at mediation, including complex, multi-jurisdictional claims.
