About me
As Head of Hill Dickinson’s Health Business Group, I lead sector teams across Liverpool, Manchester, London, Leeds and Newcastle. My focus is on complex health litigation and patient safety at a national level.
I’ve been with the firm since my training contract and have spent my whole career here. I am the client relationship partner for NHS Resolution.
I specialise in high-value, sensitive clinical negligence claims and stress-at-work litigation. These often involve allegations of bullying, human rights concerns or allegations of systemic, organisational failure. Improving patient safety is one of my priorities. I advise clients on themes emerging from their claims data and how the organisation can learn to improve patient care and minimise future incidents.
Clients value my calm, considered approach and deep understanding of the culture and operational pressures health and social care organisations face. I’ve always believed in balancing legal precision with a practical approach that meets the client’s strategic and operational priorities.
Outside work, I enjoy running and am always up for a charity challenge at the Great North Run or Manchester Half Marathon. I spend my down time listening to music and attending concerts as well as spending time in my new ice bath.
