About me
I am partner in our Commercial Dispute Resolution team, specialising in complex shareholder disputes, commercial fraud, contentious data protection, defamation, reputation management and privacy.
My clients are principally companies, high net worth individuals and private offices, who rely on me to come up with innovative commercial solutions to their disputes. I find it particularly rewarding to achieve a successful resolution for a client in disputes that have gone on for long periods of time and that others have been unable to resolve. I am regularly instructed on active matters in place of previously retained solicitors.
My clients know I’ll fight their corner as if it were my own and do everything possible to resolve their dispute, whether that’s through alternative forms of dispute resolution, such as mediation, or taking it all the way to the Supreme Court.

- Acting for the Manchester Ship Canal Company in Supreme Court case The Manchester Ship Canal Company Ltd -v- Vauxhall Motors Ltd (Formerly General Motors UK Ltd) [2019] UKSC 46.
- Multiple successful claims against News Group Newspapers and Mirror Group Newspapers in respect of phone hacking.
- Acting for an individual who was the subject of a proposed article that encroached upon her private life in a major newspaper.
- Successfully resolving a long-running fraud claim concerning the transfer of two high value London properties.
- Acting for the shareholder in an unfair prejudice petition concerning a major restaurant chain.
- Advising boards and shareholders in relation to shareholder action groups.
