About me

An experienced real estate lawyer, I act on a broad range of commercial property transactions with a particular emphasis on the retail, leisure and investment sectors. My clients include SMEs and high- net-worth individuals along with various occupiers.

I have a long history of helping the owners of large office and industrial holdings set up and develop schemes. I’m also experienced in advising investors on buying and selling of properties and acting for leisure sector clients, including owners and operators of hotels, pubs, caravan parks and golf clubs.

I work with clients, not just for them, acting as an extended member of their teams. I build relationships that endure, establishing mutual trust and working towards shared long-term goals.

I go above and beyond to get the deal done. The sense of immense satisfaction I get from completing a transaction, especially under challenging circumstances, makes all the hard work worth it.

I work with a great team of people and collectively, we like to give back where we can, taking part in various community initiatives together.

My experience

  • Acting for a large-scale landlord on key lettings to operators in a true ‘race against time’ against others competing in an emerging leisure sphere where it was anticipated that only one operator would be granted permission in the local market.
  • Acting for a multi-location golf-operator on substantial lease regears and associated expansions.
  • Advising a high-quality jeweller in respect of a number of sensitive acquisitions, expansions and flagship relocation to align with their intended brand growth and development.
  • Acting for a Liverpool-based property company in what, at the time, was the largest single building acquisition, worth £55million.
