About me

I’m an education lawyer who advises schools, multi-academy trusts, universities and other education sector organisations on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters.

My role is to help clients navigate complex issues while remaining focused on their strategic and operational priorities. I advise on a range of matters including education, public law, procurement, commercial contracts, safeguarding and data protection.

I take a clear, personable and pragmatic approach, working closely with clients to understand the root of the issues they face and provide advice that is tailored to their particular circumstances.

Drawing on experience across the public, charity, litigation, procurement and data protection sectors, I bring a well-rounded perspective to the challenges facing education organisations.

What I find most rewarding is supporting a sector I’m passionate about and helping clients find practical solutions to often complex issues, empowering them to make a real difference.

My experience

  • Advised contracting authorities on public procurement and commercial contracts
  • Advised schools on data protection issues in relation to safeguarding
  • Negotiated and drafted funding agreements for local authorities
  • Prepared for multiple hearings on behalf of a well-known regulatory authority in the education sector
