About me
As an experienced senior associate in the Health Litigation team, I deal with maximum severity and highly complex clinical negligence claims.
Representing NHS trusts, I bring a sensitive and pragmatic approach to often deeply emotional cases, which can involve birth injury, acquired brain injury or paraplegia and other forms of neurological compromise.
Having worked at Hill Dickinson for over 20 years, I understand the importance of listening carefully to our clients to gain a detailed picture of their needs. I then help with data analysis for the individual trusts, developing the format in which this is structured and presented, to ultimately try to find the best and most sensible way through.
My cases are often devastating to the person or family on the claimant side, and so we must always approach their position with empathy and respect. We need to find the right balance, as at the same time, we have a responsibility to preserve public funds so they are available for the very many other patients who have not suffered compensable injury.
