About me

I’m a property lawyer, so I deal with all aspects of real estate work, including investment and development transactions, for commercial, mixed use and residential projects. I have a particular interest and expertise in long-term, strategic development and regeneration projects.

My clients range from plc housebuilders to smaller, regional developers, and I also act for landlords and tenants on commercial occupier work. With more than 20 years of real estate experience under my belt, I’m still excited by the clients I meet and the knowledge and insight I gain from such a varied mix of work.

I like to work collaboratively, as an integral part of my clients’ team, making it my mission to understand each client’s individual business and commercial objectives. That way, the advice I provide from a legal perspective is part of a wider and fully aligned solution that’s tailored to their specific needs.

Clients tell me they value my incredible attention to detail coupled with my ability to identify the issues that really matter to them. It’s the reason I’ve built successful long-term relationships with my clients and one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.

My experience

  • The acquisition and redevelopment of a site on the banks of the River Thames for residential development with a gross development value in excess of £250 million.
  • The acquisition, development and letting of a portfolio of five new supermarkets for the developer, providing new stores for a major national supermarket brand.
  • The acquisition and redevelopment of residential development schemes for a plc housebuilder to regenerate former industrial land in Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
  • The acquisition of a portfolio of investment property assets for a private HNW investor with a value of over £20 million.
  • Strategic land projects to deliver substantial new residential settlements and commercial employment areas.
