About me
I’m an experienced, dual-qualified, consultant lawyer working predominantly in the construction sector as part of our Liverpool-based Construction team, and I assist clients in avoiding, managing and resolving areas of difference, ideally without resort to third party intervention.
Where that’s unavoidable, I guide clients to the most cost-effective resolution of areas of conflict, aiming to bring a sense of calm and direction to an often frenetic, disjointed process.
My clients are typically employers, contractors and supply chain businesses, I’m known for being determined and resilient advocate of their interests.
Understanding a client’s approach to risk is essential, my aim is to become a trusted team member bringing objectivity and clarity to emotive, complex disputes. It’s perhaps a measure of my ability to build relationships with all participants in highly contested issues that I can count many of my clients among my oldest friends.
As someone who is living with Parkinson’s, I’m passionate about helping those who are similarly affected by this disease to enjoy their lives as best they can and support them in the physical, mental, emotional and social challenges they may face.
