About me

I specialise in inquests and play a key role in preparing cases for the Coroner’s Court, supporting witnesses with clear and practical advice and representing clients at inquest hearings.

Working with NHS trusts, prison healthcare providers and occasionally care home/carer companies, I combine a friendly and considerate approach with a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of coronial law, making complex legal concepts easy to understand.

I’m personable, empathetic and understand the sensitivity required in inquest matters and find it rewarding to be able put witnesses at ease through what can be a very difficult and daunting process.

Clients have described me as providing excellent support, being responsive and comfortable working with detailed information, and a reassuring and calming presence for witnesses in court – which is something I really value.

Growing up near the South Coast, I’ve been an adoptive northerner for about 10 years now. I’m a member of our Accessibility, Health and Wellbeing networking group and have also volunteered at events to support our office charities, including Mustard Tree and The Christie Hospital.

My experience

  • I have worked with almost all of the NHS trusts in the North West (and also some clients in London/North East).
