I specialise in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, advising clients on complex, high-value disputes across a range of sectors.
Representing corporate entities, partnerships and high net worth individuals, my work often involves cross-border elements and I support clients through all stages of litigation and alternative dispute resolution with tailored advice, making sure they feel informed throughout the process.
Taking a responsive, collaborative and pragmatic approach, I work proactively with clients to identify and mitigate risk early on, helping to avoid potential disputes altogether.
Clients often describe me as calm under pressure, commercially minded and easy to work with. I aim to be a trusted and approachable adviser able to simplify complex issues and am always genuinely invested in achieving the best possible outcome.
Resolving long-standing and complex disputes is what I love most about my role, especially when the outcome makes a real difference to a client’s business or personal life. I also enjoy the intellectual challenge and strategic thinking that comes with litigation.
My experience
- Issued urgent injunctive High Court proceedings on behalf of a UK and Ireland-based accountancy practice against former employees and shareholders in respect of their breach of restrictive covenants concerning competition and solicitation. Successfully obtained various injunctions against five defendants which included springboard relief, directions to an expediated trial and imaging orders over the defendants’ personal devices.
- Represented and attended an eight-day trial in London on behalf of a Polish defendant against a claim for fees of over €1.7 million brought by a New York investment bank in relation to a €143 million real estate financing deal in Poland.
- Represented a large corporate client and issued court proceedings against a number of defendants in respect of their breach of provisions of a share purchase agreement which entitled the firm’s client to a seven-figure clawback of consideration.
- Prepared and issued urgent cease and desist letters to various international news outlets and media platforms in respect of defamatory articles published about an international shipping client.
