About me

I’m an employment lawyer, who’s particularly experienced in working with Education sector clients. I work with a diverse client base, from individuals and SMEs to household names and both single and multi-academy trusts.

Areas I advise on include contractual issues, unfair dismissal, conduct, grievances, TUPE, issues arising under the Equality Act 2010 and whistleblowing.

I relish getting to know the inner workings of the organisations I represent. I translate this insight into pragmatic advice, tailored to the client’s needs and delivered with clarity, empathy and sensitivity. In doing so, I empower clients to reach the desired outcome, enabling their strategic goals.

I genuinely care about my clients and the people that work for them. Building trust is crucial to me, I guide clients through complex, often sensitive situations, deftly steering them through the unknown to deliver the best possible conclusion while helping them maintain positive workplace relations.

My experience

  • Supported a client in navigating a sensitive and time-critical situation involving allegations of bullying.
  • Advised a client through a complex disciplinary and appeal process involving allegations of sexual harassment.
  • Handled a number of ET claims, some to final hearing, for a variety of clients including disability, sex and race discrimination, whistleblower detriment and constructive unfair dismissal.
  • Worked as part of the in-house legal team for Royal Mail Group.
