About me
I’m a consultant who specialises in all aspects of construction law. I support all sorts of clients in the construction industry — whether it’s contractors, consultants, funders or other key stakeholders — helping them get things done and achieve their commercial goals.
I act as another member of the client’s team, applying my wealth of experience and working with them to find practical, cost-effective solutions that work in the real world, so they can act decisively.
For me, it’s important to be someone my clients can depend on me long term. The vast majority of my clients come back to me whenever a new matter arises, and I like to think that speaks for itself.
I’m inspired every time I see someone find a creative way to resolve a challenge, and that’s exactly what I do for my clients. There’s nothing better than steering a client through a difficult situation, offering the expertise they need to address issues and bring about success.
I like to help others where I can and I’m involved in a number of pro bono construction community activities, from advising on charitable projects to mentoring students in local universities.
My experience
- Noncontentious work includes renewable energy projects, retail parks, high-rise accommodation and everything in between ranging in value from £100 million and upwards to £1 million.
- Contentious work includes all forms of litigation, arbitration and adjudication and various other alternative dispute resolution formats.
