About me
I’m a solicitor and master mariner with over 25 years’ experience in the maritime industry.
My areas of expertise include casualties, collisions, general average, salvage and shipping disputes. I’m known for my ability to advise on all aspects of crisis management and on-scene casualty response, and am frequently instructed to support clients with their response to incidents such as collisions; groundings; fires; and total losses.
I work with clients across Asia and Europe, including shipowners; P&I Clubs; and property insurers, and have acted for clients in a number of high-profile and large-scale casualties.
Proactive by nature, my approach is strategic and collaborative. I offer a true cradle to grave service, providing the insight, guidance and expertise necessary to achieve favourable resolutions for clients.
Combining sea-going and legal expertise, with a background in both technical management and commercial roles, I’m familiar with the world in which my clients live and the challenges they face.
