About me
With over two decades’ experience, I’m a marine law finance specialist focusing on yachts work. My work involves supporting clients with the acquisition, financing, construction, sale, chartering, management and other legal aspects of yacht ownership.
I typically work for the owners of yachts as well as for the banks and financial institutions which provide yacht finance. I also work closely with other stakeholders involved in these transactions, such as shipyards and yacht brokers.
Clients often tell me they enjoy working with me, as I’m friendly, diligent and dedicated to providing great service. Proactive and positive, I find practical solutions clients can use to reach their goals efficiently, setting out any issues at play clearly, so they can make informed and timely decisions.
Helping the client get a deal over the line – especially if it’s complex or time critical, while building a strong client relationship along the way, is always enjoyable.
I support community charities, including a school holiday food bank for local families, a breast cancer support charity, and our local CofE church. In my spare time I love the outdoors, and am frequently found indulging in gardening and hiking, as well as skiing when I can escape to the continent.
