About me
I specialise in healthcare law, with a particular focus on mental capacity and mental health, representing and working with NHS Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS trusts and independent health organisations.
My role involves supporting clients through proceedings in the Court of Protection where there are issues around mental capacity, deprivation of liberty, best interests and medical treatment.
I also assist with applications to the High Court under the inherent jurisdiction and/or Children Act, along with advising on judicial review claims and responsible commissioner and funding disputes. I’ve also helped trusts with investigations and reviews of services.
My aim is to be someone people can easily reach out to – calm, clear and responsive, especially when issues are time-sensitive. I’m very organised and like to set out succinct, helpful steps that take some of the pressure off our clients. I’m detail-focused and a team player who’s always happy to assist.
Qualifying as a solicitor with Hill Dickinson has been the highlight of my career, and I’m proud to have built strong relationships with our clients, supporting them through complex matters to achieve positive outcomes.
