About me
I’m an associate in our Healthcare and Public Law team in London, with a focus on Court of Protection and inquest work. I represent NHS trusts, Integrated Care Boards and independent healthcare providers in sensitive cases involving medical treatment disputes, best interests decisions, urgent applications and deprivation of liberty issues.
I also regularly support clients through the inquest process, including providing legal representation and advocacy at hearings. I’m known for being approachable, responsive and grounded, helping clinicians navigate complex legal proceedings with confidence and clarity.
I bring a people-first approach to every case, combining legal expertise with practical, empathetic support. Clients trust me to guide them through high-pressure situations with calm reassurance.
My experience
- Representing an NHS ICB in a withdrawal of treatment case where very limited evidence was available as to the patient’s wishes and feelings, beliefs and values (October 2024).
- Representing an NHS trust in respect of difficult medical treatment dispute between the family and trust regarding Clinically Assisted Nutrition and Hydration before the Court of Protection (December 2024).
- Representing an NHS trust at an inquest lasting nine days involving providing oral submissions to the coroner on conclusions, Regulation 28 matters and neglect.
