About me
I’m an employment law specialist and I advise employers on the more complex and technical aspects of employment law, translating it into practical and pragmatic legal solutions.
I cover a broad range of employment law issues, including discrimination and TUPE. I also advise on criminal record and right to work checks, tipping regulations, data protection, off-payroll working, modern slavery reporting and anti-bribery policies/training.
With more than 20 years’ experience as an employment law specialist, clients appreciate my ability to familiarise myself very quickly with new law, identify loopholes, think outside the box and recognise trends and connections that other lawyers may miss. I’m a strong technical lawyer who provides advice with a pragmatic, practical and commercial focus.
I also manage our Employment team’s value-added services, including client newsletters, key template contracts, letters and policies and tailored training events for clients.
I’m a co-founder of Gympal, a parent-gymnast alliance where I work alongside and support British Gymnastics on its post-Whyte Review reforms.
