About me
I specialise in trusts and estate planning, helping business owners, trustees and families to structure, protect and pass on wealth across generations.
As head of Hill Dickinson’s Private Client team, I advise on succession planning, inheritance tax, asset protection and complex estate administration, in addition to working with colleagues on cross-border and contentious matters.
For me, wealth planning is not simply a transaction; it’s a relationship built over years. With this in mind, my clients describe me as trusted, straightforward and pragmatic.
Getting to know and understand my clients’ evolving needs is at the heart of what I do. After decades of advising many families across multiple generations, it’s rewarding to see those relationships continue to grow as life moves forward.
The fact that my favourite novel is Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus may not be entirely coincidental.
My experience
- I’ve been a solicitor since 1993, and I’ve always worked in the private client field.
- Full member of STEP (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners).
- I work for owners of well-known UK businesses, but understandably they wish to keep their personal matters confidential.
- Specialist interest – UK trusts and settlements.
