About me

I’m a pensions lawyer representing trustees and companies in relation to both defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution schemes. I also assist clients with matters relating to public sector pension schemes, as well as our corporate clients.

I like to keep my advice clear, focused and commercially grounded, and clients often appreciate how I break down intricate matters into straightforward and practical guidance.

Getting stuck into technical challenges and helping clients make confident, informed decisions is something I find really rewarding, and the variety of work across DB schemes, corporate deals and public sector work, both keeps things interesting and means that I’m constantly learning and adapting!

Prior to qualifying with Hill Dickinson, I studied law at the University of Cambridge and spent a year abroad in France studying French law at the Universite de Poitiers before completing the Legal Practice Course (with LLM) at the University of Law in Manchester.

My experience

  • Working on corporate transactions, including advising on complex auto-enrolment queries and transactions involving defined benefit schemes.
  • Helping clients navigate public sector pension schemes, including advice in relation to Local Government Pension Schemes, Admission Agreements and NHS Pension Scheme queries.
  • Advising DB schemes on the buy-in and buy-out process, through to winding up.
