I’m an experienced commercial lawyer and I’m well known for my expertise in insurance. My practice spans a wide range of areas in commercial law, technology, intellectual property and data privacy.
I advise on the commercial elements of insurance like insurance distribution arrangements, delegated authority agreements, binders, TOBAs, complex affinity partnership projects, material outsourcings, technology projects, reinsurance agreements and cross-border data protection structures. Along with this, I advise on insurance renewal rights asset transfer deals.
I work with anyone who requires or supplies commercial or technological solutions. The kinds of clients I advise include insurers, MGAs, brokers, financial services and technology providers and other customers and suppliers of products and services.
I’m highly focused on helping clients meet their commercial, technology and wider business needs. Having over 30 years’ experience, I’m adept at cutting through the noise to determine what clients really need. I collaborate closely with them to create innovative, cutting-edge solutions that empower them to unlock commercial opportunities, while minimising any risk factors at play.

- Advising a number of Lloyd’s insurers and brokers on a broad spectrum of commercial work, including material outsourcing arrangements, delegated authority agreements, TOBAs and cross border data protection matters.
- Providing full-service commercial law support to a specialist insurance and employee benefits provider, including supplier and intermediary arrangements, product distribution, (re)insurance TOBAs, introducer arrangements and app-based insurance add-on services.
- Advising specialist travel insurance broking group AllClear/Insure&Go on affinity partnerships with leading brands and underwriters such as Age UK, the Co-op, ASDA and Zurich.
- Advising Ki Digital on its commercial and technology arrangements.
- Advising Ardonagh on the purchase of Navigators & General from Zurich and the More Than personal lines motor renewal book from RSA.
- Providing commercial and technology contract support to ParentPay.
