About me
I specialise in employment law, advising on contentious and non-contentious matters. My caseload includes defending employers in complex tribunal claims covering a wide range of issues including discrimination, whistleblowing, unfair dismissal, breach of contract and unlawful deduction of wages.
I work primarily with organisations in the healthcare sector, including NHS trusts and other public bodies. I have developed an in-depth understanding of this sector through a two-year secondment to an NHS trust and a health-focused training contract. This has given me a strong grasp of how NHS trusts operate, ensuring any advice I offer is grounded in the practical realities of the sector.
I’m deeply committed to supporting the healthcare sector, as I’m truly inspired by the vital role it plays in society and the unwavering dedication of its workforce. Helping healthcare professionals and organisations navigate complex challenges is something I always find deeply rewarding.
I love to travel, my favourite destinations so far include Peru, Thailand and New York.
My experience
- Has provided various training sessions to NHS trusts and the HPMA.
- Successfully defended and won a complex, multi-respondent claim involving discrimination, constructive dismissal, whistleblowing, and victimisation.
