About me

My area of focus is healthcare regulatory law. I work with NHS trusts and other healthcare providers to guide them through investigations – whether inquests, criminal cases, or CQC proceedings – providing support at every stage, from initial discussions to court hearings.

Legal processes can affect clients in various ways, impacting everything from reputation to staff wellbeing. I’m here to offer the clear, practical guidance that clients need to minimise any disruption to their operations, protect their interests and reach the best possible outcome for all involved.

It’s important to me that clients and witnesses never feel alone during legal proceedings. I make sure to explain clearly and dispel myths, so they can act confidently and provide the best quality evidence possible. When at the end, they feel it’s been a rewarding experience, I know I’ve done my job right.

By nature, I’m a positive person. I address issues head on and I’m always looking for opportunities for improvement, so clients can strengthen and enhance the service they offer to patients.

My experience

  • Experienced in fitness to practise proceedings, including GMC and GDC, as well as inquests.
  • Completed a masters in healthcare ethics and law.
  • Undertook a secondment at a large Mental Health trust, acting as a trust solicitor. This involved managing the legal profile and representing the trust at inquests.
