About me
I’m here to help healthcare organisations such as NHS trusts and private sector clients like care homes navigate inquests and handle general healthcare issues.
In terms of inquests, I work with NHS trusts across the North West, regularly appearing before coroners in cases involving mental health, article 2 and jury inquests. On the general healthcare side of things, I advise on issues like policies, patient care concerns and regulatory compliance.
I act as a trusted advisor, offering the sound guidance and extensive legal insight clients need to navigate complex inquests. Thorough and proactive by nature, I always question, closely scrutinising processes and established norms to ensure I can offer solutions that are truly fit for purpose.
I believe that being prepared is always key. That’s why I run training sessions for staff, including junior doctors, so when they attend an inquest, they know what to expect and can act confidently.
There’s nothing like making a difference, and I’m lucky enough to do that every day in my role. Through my work, I get to help clients improve patient safety and I find that truly rewarding.
