About me
As National Head of Corporate, I bring over 25 years’ experience advising clients on corporate transactions. My work spans acquisitions, disposals, private equity, group reorganisations and governance, with a particular focus on supporting family businesses, entrepreneurs and management teams through complex change.
Clients value my pragmatic, commercial approach. I focus on what matters and help them navigate decisions confidently. I’ve led high-profile deals across sectors and am proud to have helped build one of Manchester’s leading corporate teams.
Over time, I’ve become a trusted adviser and seeing businesses grow is the most rewarding part of the job. For me, staying grounded and humble is an important principle. This is something I have learnt from my and I try to apply this in every client relationship.
Family is important to me. When I can, I like to spend time in Provence, where I try to revive my French (still terrible) with mixed results.

- Acting for Symatrix, an Oracle HCM, Payroll, ERP, SCM and OCI partner, on its sale, to US enterprise, Applications Software Technology.
- Acting for Bates Farms and Dairy Limited on its acquisition of the Mortons and Harrisons Dairy businesses.
- Acting on the MBO of Jackson Stephen Accountants.
- Advising ABR Stainless Ltd, supplier of quality stainless-steel and sheet metal fabrications to the oil and food industries, on their successful management buyout.
- Advising Elcometer Limited on its acquisition of Supreme Visors Limited.
- Advising the shareholders of power distribution and street lighting firm Jones Lighting on the sale of the business to United Living Group.
