About me

I’m a partner in Hill Dickinson’s Shipping team, working between our London and Piraeus offices. With more than 30 years’ experience and a background in naval architecture, I specialise in admiralty and insurance work, with a focus on collision and salvage claims.

I advise shipowners, operators, P&I clubs and insurers, from the first response to a casualty through to resolution, whether by negotiation, mediation, arbitration or litigation. My work also extends to charterparty and insurance disputes involving technical issues such as machinery failure, fire and cargo damage.

Having lived and worked in the UK, Greece, Singapore and across the Middle East and Africa, I bring an international perspective that helps me work effectively with clients around the world.

Outside work, I support London Youth Rowing, a charity helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and I remain passionate about rowing and sailing myself.
